Why I built Syntriq
I'm Jason — I've spent the last five years as a project accountant in commercial construction, working with multiple subcontractor companies and helping them scale using a patchwork of different software. What I kept seeing was the same thing everywhere: missed billings, missed follow-ups, and a disconnect between accounting and project managers that cost real money.
Billing shouldn't be the hardest part of getting paid. I built Syntriq to fix that — one seamless system for subcontractors of any size, from solo operators to full accounting teams, who are tired of stitching together tools that don't talk to each other.
